Meng Yew Au

Meng was inspired to become a chiropractor because of a strong passion for helping people, utilising a natural and drug-free approach. He completed his chiropractic studies with a double degree of Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) from RMIT Australia in 2021. Since then, Meng has been practicing in the Far North and North Queensland region; including, Cairns, Charters Towers, and Townsville.

Qualifications & Training

Meng is fully trained and qualified in all the techniques currently used in our practice and has a special interest in manual chiropractic adjusting. He is also studying to become one of only a few certified Gonstead Practitioners in North Queensland. Furthermore, he has enrolled in the Diplomate of Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (DACCP) program, developing his skill set to include helping your little ones to grow healthy and achieve their full potential. Meng also actively engages in other seminars to continually improve his abilities in providing postural rehab, neuromuscular rehab, and lifestyle advice.

Meng’s approach is patient-centred and evidence-informed. He takes time at each consultation to understand not just the presenting complaint, but the lifestyle, work demands, and history behind it.

Treatment is tailored to the individual, with a focus on improving function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term outcomes. His philosophy has remained consistent throughout his career: listen carefully, explain clearly, and help people return to normal activities with confidence.

About Meng

Born and raised in Malaysia, Meng is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Bahasa.  In the last couple of years, having fallen in love with North Queensland, he has decided to call Australia home.

In his free time, Meng likes sightseeing in the beautiful North Queensland country, visiting our sunny beaches, bushwalking, playing badminton, and watching movies.
